Advanced Hosted PBX Plans

Digium’s open source masterpiece, Asterisk, expanded by Schmooze Com’s FreePBX, has become a telephony kingpin. Supported by Digium, Schmooze Com and a huge Internet user base, it has become a defacto standard for medium and large businesses alike. By hosting a FreePBX with QoStar, you can use your own staff to manage your phone system and call on our engineers if your staff needs higher-level assistance, all hosted for you in one of our secure facilities. Patches, updates, and hardware failures will never have to cross your mind.

  • Advanced Hosted PBX - Normal Use

    [wpws url=”http://account.qostar.com/?content={product%20trunk1000%20hpbx%20price}”]

Most businesses not engaged in “call center” activities use way less than 1000 minutes per month per line. Our Normal Use Lines are perfect if you don’t have job roles in your company that talk on the phone exclusively (i.e. outbound sales lead generation, heavy-use tech support lines, or full-time appointment verification). With local calling to the US, Canada and parts of 51 countries internationally, the savings on these lines typically amounts to one third the cost of wireline.

  • Advanced Hosted PBX - Heavy Use

    [wpws url=”http://account.qostar.com/?content={product%20trunk0%20hpbx%20price}”]

For businesses that know they will exceed our Normal Use Lines, we still have a great product in our Heavy Use Lines. Pay a small license fee per line plus usage outside the private network. Pay only for what you use and save money with great rates.

In-Network Calling Is Always Unlimited

Some plans specify minute limits which only refer to calls outside the private network passed to or from an Interconnected VoIP Provider. Calls made to other parties on the private network are not metered and do not count towards any plan limitations. If you will not be using our services to communicate with traditional phone customers, “0 minute” options are available for all plan types.

Standard Trunk Features

Caller ID

Caller Identification (or Caller ID) lets you know who is calling before you answer the call. Caller ID displays the phone number of an incoming call on your device screen. Calls to another phone number will display the caller’s phone number on the recipient’s Caller ID. The caller’s name may also appear if the recipient has the calling party’s name listed in their devices address book or contact list. Limitations of other carriers may affect Caller ID

Call Forwarding

With this feature, you can forward your calls to another phone number, including your home, office or cell phone. (Uses two channels, channels must be available.)

Fallback Number

A fallback number forwards your calls to another phone (ie cell phone) if your phone is disconnected from the Internet due to outage or power failure.

Surprise Toll Protection

Dialing an out-of-plan number (ie international calls) requests a rate confirmation.

Available PBX Features

General

Describing the features of FreePBX would take at least a chapter of a book and could easily be several chapters divided into functional groups to describe what extensions and phones can do, what sort of general call routing can be designed, how advanced services like conferencing and dictation work, and even a chapter of features available for customization and integration into other computer systems. In short, imagine what a huge company can do with their phones, and know that these functions are available through FreePBX.

Call Routing

Inbound calls can be routed based on the number dialed, caller ID, time of day, on/off conditions (ie “out of office”), voice menus, and more. Calls to extensions can also use “find me/follow me” routing to further seek out a recipient for the call.

Call Destinations

Calls can be routed to individual extensions, groups of extensions, voice menus, hold queues, external phone numbers, conference bridges, voice mail, and more.

In-Call Features

While in a call, call waiting, hold and park with music, transfers, and call recording are available.

Other Features

FreePBX also knows how to “camp-on”, do black-listing, send voice mail to email, take dictation, make “wake up calls”, handle paging/intercom, keep speed dial lists, and allow users to dial-in from an outside phone (ie cell phone) and then dial-out from an extension. There is even a web page for seeing each extension’s call history, voice mail, and other settings.

Phone Types Supported

FreePBX can use anything with SIP technology as a phone including analog telephone adapters, IP digital phones, software based phones on computers and smart phones, and even other software packages like CRM.

Available Add-On Services

Phone Numbers

Any number of private or public phone numbers can be added to your trunk lines for a nominal month charge. You may keep your current number but the cost to keep your number is $10.00.

Enhanced 911

Enhanced 911 or E911 service is a North American telephone network (NANP) feature of the 911 emergency-calling system that automatically associates a physical address with the calling party’s telephone number

Toll-Free Phone Numbers

Toll-Free numbers are available.
